Victoria Street,

The Memorial Pavilion is located behind the St George hospital.  It is an open rectangle structure on three sides, with seating at one end facing the internal Honour Board.  There are a series of Honour Boards and plaques, both internal and external, dedicated to the memory of individuals from the Region who have served their country in times of conflict. There are also twin lamps of remembrance located at the top corners closest to the hospital.

The ANZAC Day programme in St.George:
6.00am - Dawn Service at Cenotaph St. Georges Terrace followed by breakfast at St George RSL.
9.00am - Cemetery - laying of flowers on the graves of ex-service personnel and a short service.
9.30am - War Memorial service at St George Hospital with the reading of names of all the personnel from the district who died on active service during the First and Seconde World Wars, Korea and Vietnam.
10.00am - Assembly: corner Henry Street and St Georges Terrace for 10.30am march to the Cenotaph, St Georges Terrace
11am - Community ANZAC Day Service at Cenotaph.
12 Noon - RSL Luncheon for ex-service personnel and invited guests.
