Rosemount State School 1914–1918 Honour Board
A shield-style Honour Board from the Rosemount State School, which now does not exist. The Board was rescued by the museum to preserve the heritage of the war service of local puplis during the Great War. The Board lists 19 individual pupils and displays a number of duplicate names, indicating family connections. The scrpt is painted gold and back by black shadowing.

The school was established at Rosemount in April 1886, and children from farms near the lower reaches of Petrie s Creek attended that school. The Rosemount State School closed many years ago.
