The Caves War Memorial
Set in Buch Square at the small shopping centre, the memorial is made of small square blue tiles with white grouting - a slab at the rear and a sloping front reading Lest we forget. An Australian flag is at the top of the memorial, with RAN, AIF and RAAF badges and three marching figures representing the relevant services. The only other similar figures at war memorials in Queensland are on the wall behind the Bofors gun at New Farm RSL, Brisbane.
