Toowong Boer War Memorial
First known Boer War monument in Queensland, and was erected by his friends and comrades. Draped obelisk with carvings of a pen and pad, crossed swords, tennis rackets, cricket bats and ball is set on a typical Petrie base. There are commemorative panels on the plinth to individuals from the conflict.
