Toowoomba Vietnam War Memorial
The memorial demonstrates the three forms of Armed Forces; Navy, Air Force and Army in pre-cast concrete with an integrated water course leading to the central pond of reflection. Etchings on polished Black granite panels have been supplied by J.H. Wagner & Sons with dedication panels, pond capping and plinths in both bronze and black granite with gold incised lettering. The image of a Wattle spray on the central bronze plaque has long been viewed as a symbol of the sacrifices made for the Australian nation.
The Memorial displays various dedication plaques and service acknowledgements to participants in the conflict.
