Townsville Heroes Walk
This memorial honours Australia's Victoria Cross winners in the Asia Pacific campaign. It consists of twelve small stone cairns with plaques and a main cairn facing the others. Positioned on a semicircle paved foundation near the water. It was erected as part of the city's celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Allied Victory in the Pacific War.
