Babinda War Memorial
This memorial has outstanding significanceas an example of the work of Melrose & Fenwick, monumental masons of Townsville. On a stepped base the concrete memorial is topped by an obelisk. There is a small alcove cut into the base of the memorial to accept flowers or other commemorative items.

The memorial carries the names of 69 soldiers from the local District who served in the Great War.
