Beaudesert Memorial Palm Garden
33 Majestic palms (Ravenea rivularis) were planted in memory of 32 men and one woman who lost their lives during The Second World War. This Memorial was built as part of the Australia Remembers in 1996. The name of a 33rd man, J Hobbs, has also been added to the memorial since 1996.
There is also a Memorial in appreciation to all Vietnam Veteran's on the 40th Anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan.

- Additional information
The additional images display a unique insight into the evolution of memorials over time. The 'original' setting images were taken in 1996 and are in stark contrast to the images of thirteen years later, where the palms have grown to a significant height. However, the loss of some palms has led to consideration of alternative plantings.
