2/27 Battalion AIF Memorial Plaque
Bronze plaque recessed into a white painted concrete plinth. The plaque recognises the service of the battalion during the Second World War andthe existance of the unit at Caloundra during the war between May and August 1942. Rest and Recreation and training camps were stablised in the area and utilised duriong route marches and training for amphibious operations.
