Bowen War Memorial (Digger)
The memorial was relocated from Gordon Street to Herbert Street. The memorial stands on a granite base with a low granite fence, set into paving which connects both traffic lanes. The sandstone digger stands with head bowed and arms reversed atop a clock tower. The clocks were damaged in a cyclone in 1958 and have not been replaced.
