29th Brigade Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels Plaque
Bronze plaque dedicated to the 'Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels' of the 29th Australian Infantry Brigade, who carried supplies to the troops and evacuated the wounded over mountainous terrain in Papua and New Guinea during the Second World War. The plaque displays the Brigade colour patch and a dedication.

carried supplies to our troops and evacuated the
wounded over the mountainous terrain of New
Guinea saving many Australian lives. For their
courage and endurance they became known as
