Capella War Memorial
A marble octagonal memorial set on circular bases, flanked by two flagpoles. Names of fallen World War I soldiers are listed together with their regimental number, name, battalion, killed or died of wounds, date and place of death. Plaques around the top of the memorial list name and AIF or RAAF for the fallen of World War II.A low chain fencesurroundsthe base of the memorial, with a short path leading to the cracked paving. The rear of the main memorial is dominated by a unique personal memorial in the form of a stylised cross, set into the ground. It is formed by coloured gravel and commemorates the service of Vincent Allen Daniels, ex-Royal Australian Artillery, WWII, to the continuation of the RSL in the district.
