Cordalba War Memorial (Digger)
This memorial has outstanding significance as an early Petrie digger memorial. The original digger was vandalised and replaced by a small obelisk. Pieces were stored at the RSL, Childers. The memorial is surrounded by a pipe fence with concrete corner posts and is situated in a small park in the main street. Dedicated in 1919 to local residents who died in the forces in the First World War.
The Digger on the memorial was replaced in recent years and brings the memorial back to its pre-vandalised glory.
