Giru War Memorial
Lions Brolga Park, Carey Street, 44km south of Townsville (Bruce Hwy)

The original memorial was a solid stone cairn painted white on a stepped platform. Metal plaque inserted on the front. A war trophy was on top of this memorial but has since been removed.
The memorial was renovated in recent years.
