Longreach War Memorial
A tall stone obelisk set in Anzac Memorial Park on the Matilda Highway. A set of steps lead from the Highway to the memorial, which is set on a three stepped base. Large lights are located either side of the memorial.

Name plaques set around the memorial list 51 names in raised gold letters on separate plates under Remembrance honouring fallen soldiers. In alphabetical order under Freedom, 30 names; Unity, 29 names, and Sacrifice, 29 names, a total of 51 fallen and 88 returned.
