Malanda Eacham Memorial Gates
Renovated in recent years, the memorial gates now consist of enhanced elements. The original gates and arch have been enhanced by two memorial walls which flank the arch and display sillouetted images of Australian military characters. The original Honour Rolls from WWII and WWII have been retained in situ on either side of the arch supports, but have now been protected behind perspex. The original 'Other Conflicts' bronze plaque has been moved to the right flank wall from underneath the arch.
In addition, the site has been complemented by a flagpole on the left flank and surrounded by landscaping. The memorial has received a new paint job and consists of a yellow and green theme.
Two green iron double gates with white lettering LEST WE FORGET between two large concrete posts have been removed. The plaques commemorating those who fell during the 1914–1918 war, during the war of 1939–1945 and other conflicts (Korea and Vietnam).
