Mapleton Memorial Stone
Mapleton's second memorial erected within the Mapleton RSL Memorial Park due to traffic restrictions the original Memorial Cairn. A large stone memorial with small plaque inserted at the centre top. The stone sits on stepped concrete base painted white. A low fence with four white posts and chain surrounds it and a flagpole sits to the right. Follwing a grant from the Department of Veterans' Affairs, Rolls of Honour plaques were installed on the memorial, listing the names of both First and Second World War servicemen from the district who died during those conflicts.
