Mareeba Aerodrome War Memorial
This memorial is in the form of a fountain, which symbolically signifies new birth or regeneration. A white marble brick wall with a propeller attached forms the backdrop support, with four plaques attached to the front left corner of the wall, identifying accidents that took place at the aerodrome, and a dedication plaque in front.
