Nambour War Memorial Cairn
A square sandstone memorial cairn located before the new obelisk memorial, closer to the entrance. It sits on a two stepped base and has a large metal plaque inserted at the front and back.

Front plaque reads: NAMBOUR REMEMBERS THOSE WHO SERVED. THEY SHALL GROW NOT OLD AS WE THAT ARE LEFT GROW OLD. AGE SHALL NOT WEARY THEM, NOR THE YEARS CONDEMN. AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING WE WILL REMEMBER THEM. LEST WE FORGET
