Allora Australia Remembers Memorial Park
A commemorative space developed during the 'Australia Remembers' commemorations of 1995, the 50th Anniversary of the end of the Second World War. The memorial was designed to complement the other Allora sites and allow for families to individually commemorate their loved ones via insertion of small plaques displaying service and personal details.
The site consists of three columns arranged in triangular formation. The two larger columns support an arch that displays the 'Australia Remembers' logo and the supports display the small personal plaques. The front column is topped by a commemorative sun dial.
